The Chinese Lantern Festival takes place on the 15th - and the last - day of the Spring Festival, which refers to the Chinese New Year festivities. In 2024 the year of the dragon starts on 10th February and the Lantern Festival takes place on the 25th of February. Here, at BBU we are going to celebrate both the Lantern Festival and the Chinese New Year on 22nd February with a fascinating event where you can immerse yourself in some traditional Chinese games and food, Chinese dance and musical instruments performances, as well as interesting presentations about this versatile country.
* The event will be realized with the support of the Confucius Institute in Szeged and the Eurasia Center. We reserve the right to make changes in the program. Photos will be taken at the event. *
